My Dad Has Cirrousis Of The Liver My Dad Has High Blood Pressure And Keeps Collapsing At Home In The Middle Of The Night. Why?

My dad has high Blood Pressure and keeps collapsing at home in the middle of the night. Why? - my dad has cirrousis of the liver

My father broke out near the bathroom, near the kitchen door, almost every month in the evening. The next day, usually found somewhere unconscious. It is not even aware that this is happening. Is it because your blood pressure? Never before had health problems. It is about 58 years. Yoga, and even the health problem persists.
I ask a medical expert as a doctor to answer this question.

Meena - Collapsing at home in the middle of the night is probably due to the blood pressure too early than too high, even in a patient with high blood pressure like his father. Suspect that they are treated with a kind of medication to the blood pressure, including beta-blocker, is used to control lower blood pressure. A common model is the drug atenolol, but there are some others. This drug is usually taken at bedtime. During the night, perhaps because a full bladder, wakes his father and wants to urinate, or perhaps to get a drink. If you respond too quickly to sleep in sitting and standing, does low BP does not have enough time to at a pressure lower than the increase in pressure just needed sleep and he was confused and stumble or fall. Many may fall and should lead to the femur fractuire. After the meeting, you must be at least 15 seconds or took longer before getting up to wait to allow the change of BP, so as not in the way. It might also help if you avoid in a liquid during the last hour or two Before going to bed to avoid a full bladder and need to urinate at night. In some patients, a plastic jug of lead on his bed to urinate during the night to avoid getting up. It is important that the doctor could turn his father for your dose of beta-blockers are reduced to bed. Good luck.

Wow, yes him to the doctor. My father did exactly the same before his death in August last year. He once fell in front of the bathroom, I was startled and woke up and I do not remember falling. Finally went to the doctor had gone and an enlarged heart. He was very stubborn and thought that the doctors were lying and trying to make money, and died a month later, in his sleep in his bed.
